Pricing Manager

SUMMARY

The Pricing Manager will work closely with the VP of Sales to manage customer pricing activity and ensure customer and product pricing projects meet criteria and timelines by effectively communicating and working with all required departments.

TASKS

  • Assist in developing and deployment an overall strategic roadmap for pricing
  • Build, lead, and develop a high performing team of pricing analysts. Hiring, training and mentoring staff to ensure strategic objectives are achieved
  • Manage and coordinate pricing queue to deliver pricing projects for VP Sales to meet timelines
  • Key stakeholder in RFP strategies and negotiations
  • Manage, track and adjust strategy as the team executes through the year
  • Make sure pricing team maintains a high standards of tactical execution of department functions (Cost Modeling, Customer Quotes, Product Launch Functions, Accounting Resolutions and Customer Portfolio Maintenance)
  • Participate in budget cycle and help develop annual margin budget

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This job has direct supervision over the Pricing Analysts.

KNOWLEDGE

  • Economics and Accounting — Knowledge of economic and accounting principles and practices, the financial markets, banking and the analysis and reporting of financial data.

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS

  • Four-Year Degree in Business with emphasis in Sales/Marketing or related field required or can demonstrate equivalent experience
  • Most appropriate level of experience for this position is 1 to 3 years

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to walk; sit and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee is occasionally required to stand; reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Work Environment

Minimal time in cold working environment (approx.. 37F)

Food Safety & Food Security Responsibility
