Renaissance Food Group, a fresh food company that is a wholly owned subsidiary of Calavo Growers, Inc., will feature one of their newest innovations items, Garden Highway One Pot Kits at the upcoming PMA Fresh Summit. The product line was created as a solution to fresh, easy-to-prepare meal kits consumers can make at home in one pot, such as an instant cooker or slow cooker.
Garden Highway One Pot Kits are available in a variety of blends, including Minestrone Soup Kit, Spring Stew Kit, Pot Roast Kit, and White Bean Chili Kit. Each Kit contains fresh vegetables, herbs, and other components needed to place into the vessel of the consumers choice. Garden Highway One Pot Kits can be used as a standalone vegetarian dish or enhanced with protein at the consumer’s discretion.
Garden Highway One Pot Kits merchandise easily into produce displays and stand out on display shelves with a newly designed, clear label, which prominently displays the Garden Highway logo while featuring the colorful vegetables in its transparent rigid container. These innovative kits can be cross-merchandised in other departments to drive incremental sales.
“Generations from Boomers to Millennials to Gen Z recognize and embrace the importance of living a healthy lifestyle, however have limited time throughout the day to dedicate to preparing and cooking,” said James Naaman, SVP national sales for RFG. “At Renaissance Food Group, we have created an on-trend meal solution that doesn’t make the consumer choose between health and convenience.”
Garden Highway One Pot Kits will be on display and for sample in the Calavo Growers / Renaissance Food Group booth #1543 at the upcoming PMA Fresh Summit in Orlando.
In addition to Garden Highway One Pot Kits, Renaissance Food Group will also feature new innovation product lines, such as Garden Highway Veggie Noodles, Garden Highway Veggie Noodle Stir Fries, and Garden Highway Veggie “Rice” bowls at Fresh Summit.
